Because there are fewer messages to filter, the user becomes a more efficient, happier employee.  There is no longer the frustration of having to sort through pagers of unwanted advertisements and less time is wasted checking email.  Also, since there is less clutter on the user’s PC, the machine itself is not slowed down with time consuming downloading of messages.  In many cases, this can increase the performance of the PC, allowing the user to be more efficient.
